Can your marquees be erected on any surface?
Our marquees can be erected on virtually any surface, unlike traditional pole marquees our modern marquees do not require any guy ropes allowing them to be erected on concrete, tarmac and similar hard standing as well as on grass.

Can we use a marquee in the winter?
Yes, our marquees are perfect for use in the winter, we supply thermostatically controlled ducted heating ensuring a comfortable internal temperature regardless of the weather outside. We also stock sectional wooden flooring for use under the carpet allowing us to provide a firm level base within the marquee.

Can your marquees be connected to the house?
Yes, we can either connect the marquee directly to the building or we can provide a covered walkway that leads from the house into the main marquee.

Will there be any damage to my property or lawn?
Whenever we are erecting or dismantling a marquee we will take great care of your property. We will need to be informed of any services that may run under the proposed site. Your lawn may be discoloured after removal of the equipment but it will recover.

Does it matter if my garden has a slope?
A slight slope is nothing to worry about. A steeper slope is not a problem for the marquee structure but may be uncomfortable for guests. We work alongside a reputable staging company who can level out more serious slopes so that you have a perfectly flat surface for the marquee to be erected on.

What happens if something goes wrong during the event?
We have a 24-hour emergency line to assist you during the hire period.

What about insurance?
Our marquees and installation team are covered by our £5m public liability & £10m employers’ liability insurance policy. However you as the hirer are responsible for the marquee during the hire period. Any damage or missing equipment will be billed to you. A damage waiver is available at reasonable cost.

Do we need a generator?
Not always, your need for a generator is likely to be determined by the size and location of your event, we are happy to discuss and advise during our site visit.

Do we need a heater?
In the summer months a heater is not always required but can be booked and installed on 'standby' just in case. For winter events we would always advise the installation of one of our ducted, thermostatically controlled heating systems.

Do you provide the catering?
No, but we have a number of reliable catering companies that we have worked with previously and would be happy to give you their contact details. (Please also see our links section)

What areas do you cover?
We are based in Ipswich, Suffolk and operate primarily within the East Anglian region, however we do travel outside this area and would be happy to discuss your requirements wherever your location.
